Important Africa Travel Documents
Part and parcel of travel in Africa is that visa prices and requirements are known to change suddenly and without prior notice. Because of this, it is important to do a final check of prices and details shortly before you arrive for your expeditions.
Travel visas for African countries are usually easiest to pay for using US dollars in cash.
Kenya Travel Visas
Nationals of Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and Canada: almost all of these nationalities now require visas to visit as a tourist. For a visit of up to 90 days, visas can be obtained upon arrival at the International Airport in Nairobi. The cost for this is US$50.00 for a single-entry visa, and US$100 for multiple entries. Visitor visas to Kenya can be extended for a further three-month period, however, seven-day transit visas cannot.
