Sports Coaching in Africa

Pathfinders place gap year candidates in week-long volunteer sports coaching programmes in an effort to make a difference to local communities. Alongside the Pathfinders team, you’ll help facilitate and partake in various sports coaching activities with local community teams.

You’ll be rewarded with a sense of accomplishment and wellbeing as you help underprivileged teams to practice and prepare for a sports tournament that is the culmination of your week of volunteer coaching. Above all though, sports coaching volunteer work will teach you to interact, understand, contribute towards and feel a part of a local disadvantaged community.
