White Water Rafting in Africa

White water rafting in Africa has its official home on Africa’s Zambezi River which forms the location of the most commercially-run Grade 5 white water rapids in the world.

The Zambezi River's waters source straight from the mighty Victoria Falls and channel through the basalt rock faces of the Batoka Gorge, forming the backdrop for a truly adrenaline-filled white water rafting experience. Too much water and not enough space makes for angry rapids, so if you’re looking for a river rafting challenge, this is the place to do it!

An African river rafting trip will teach you skills that separate the men from the boys, and you’ll learn to make peace with the Zambezi and other tumultuous African rivers. Pathfinders offer white water rafting trips that are run in canoes, kayaks and rafts.
